My most recent meal was, unfortunately, last night. My
stomach is currently void of anything that could be called food and is also the
sole reason my life is totally miserable as I write this. However, thinking
about my meal last night does give me pleasant thoughts as well as makes me
hopeful for the bountiful feast I will be preparing myself at home when I
return home. Last night’s meal consisted of fried vegetables. It was a mix of
asparagus, broccoli, red bell peppers, onions, olive oil, and a light sprinkle
of salt and pepper. The main part of the meal was medium-sized tilapia fillet
that was made with sliced bell peppers, a few dollops of butter, and some lemon
pepper seasoning. The chef behind such a wonderful meal was none other than my
amazing girlfriend. The meal was in fact remarkable because prior to actually
eating I was driving around my friends around Denver while they ran some
errands. Thus, finally being able to sit down and enjoy a freshly cooked meal
with my girlfriend was very enjoyable and relaxing experience.
